A Little Random-ness

I'm going a little crazy the past few days. Adam was sick Tuesday & Wednesday. Amelia was sick Wednesday & today. I'm tired of being in the house. Today is such a nice day too. I mean, it's REALLY windy, but it's like 65 or something outside. FINALLY! And where am I? Stuck in the house. I feel bad for Adelaide too, because Mia is resting & Allison is down for her nap. Earlier today, Adelaide brought me her Cinderella dress to help her put on. Allison pulled on it & tried to take it away. I sent Adelaide to get the yellow Princess Dora dress (which belongs to Adelaide) for Allison. Here they are. Aren't they adorable? Can you say "Get off me Sis?"
Adelaide decided that SHE wanted to wear the yellow dress, so we put another one on Allison. She didn't really care. This is the first time that she's gotten to play dress-up with the princess dresses. She was SO happy. She spun around & flipped her dress. She was so funny.
Hopefully, everyone will be well soon. Of course, then we'll have rain & be stuck inside some more. Oh well. That gives me more chance to clean it, right? *sigh* Lucky me.

What cute little girls. We have an absence of anything cute at our house so I have to admire other people's cute girls and girly stuff! LOL! I hear you on the being stuck inside! No fun at all! It might give you more time to clean up, but I have found that I end up going in circles, as my boys destroy all my hard work! Stinkers! LOL!

Chuck E. Cheese...Yay!??!

I decided to suck-it-up and take the family to Chuck E. Cheese for Allison's birthday. In AZ, the kids really liked going to Peter Piper Pizza for pizza & games. We've been here 2 years, and I've managed NOT to make it into Chuck E. Cheese. The kids have asked many times, but it just hasn't happened. So, I thought it would be a treat for them. A friend of mine gave me some coupons & I printed some off the Internet too. We got tons of tokens, pizza & soda for everyone. We had a pretty good time, except for 3 emotional meltdowns - ALL thanks to Mia. One meltdown because she wanted to play a specific game, another when we were down to our last 2 tokens (one for Adelaide & one for Mia). Her final tantrum was on the way out when she changed her mind at the last minute about which prize she wanted (after our turn was over). We'll have to think seriously about another birthday @ Chuck E. Cheese. - Mia says she wants to have her birthday there next month. W

Avery Updates

Avery is thriving, but I find myself busier than ever. Go figure. At her one month checkup, she weighed 8lb 14oz (born 6lb 15oz). Then at her 2 month checkup, she was 10lb 14oz. I don't think I've had a baby grow so fast. We'll have to see how long this keeps up. She's even close to sleeping through the night. Several nights a week, she sleeps for around 7 hours! None of my babies like bathtime . BIG Yawn! Baby bear in her carseat . Allison can't stand to leave her be. She loves her baby sister. Sometimes her eyes don't focus together....My poor little crazy-eyes. Happy baby! She's officially grown out of a few outfits like this one. Sad Baby. Trying to enjoy a litt le playtime. "Look at Mommy Baby!" My Little girls. Floor Dancing Avery needs her binky . Allison is a punk sometimes...She took Avery's sock off, so I made her put it back on. It's a lot harder than it looks.

OK, today is video Friday. I was looking through some video clips with the kids this morning & decided to share a couple of cute ones. This is one of my faves. - This is just typical for Adam when Amelia was born. He loved his little sis SO much. What happened? It's just funny to hear Amelia "whine" as her brother loves on her.
