Preschool...Yippee!!

Preschool has started...Yippee! Amelia & Adelaide started yesterday. They LOVE it! They have been SO excited & asking me for months when they get to go to preschool. Here's a too-cute pic of the girls. - Dang! Looks can be deceiving. They almost look like they could get-along.The girls are very excited with their backpacks. Just imagine...Adam got a new backpack & I had to get one for everyone. (Amelia = Disney Princesses / Adelaide = Barbie)
The girls have a cubby that they share - a place to hang their sweaters & backpacks. And, it's just their size. Three cheers for independence!!Andrea is one of their "Big Kid Buddies" at preschool. It's at a local high school 3 days a week. It's only for an hour & a half, but it's free...It gives me a break.
Lauren is their other "Big Kid Buddy". Preschool overlaps 2 class periods. The girls are having a great time so far & don't seem homesick at all - just excited. Awesome!

Is that church Andrea? Look how pretty and grown up she is! Oh, and your girls look great too! What a fun thing for them to get to do. I hope you enjoy having "just" one for a few hours a week!

How cute are the girls, in that picture, with Addy's head resting on Mia's shoulder? I love how sweet they can look. It looks like they are having fun and getting to feel like big girls. Good job Mom!! ;0)

How fun...and how fun for you, only one kid left, yipeee! Your girls look like angels, I don't know how they could possibly ever misbehave, I don't believe it! :)

Chuck E. Cheese...Yay!??!

I decided to suck-it-up and take the family to Chuck E. Cheese for Allison's birthday. In AZ, the kids really liked going to Peter Piper Pizza for pizza & games. We've been here 2 years, and I've managed NOT to make it into Chuck E. Cheese. The kids have asked many times, but it just hasn't happened. So, I thought it would be a treat for them. A friend of mine gave me some coupons & I printed some off the Internet too. We got tons of tokens, pizza & soda for everyone. We had a pretty good time, except for 3 emotional meltdowns - ALL thanks to Mia. One meltdown because she wanted to play a specific game, another when we were down to our last 2 tokens (one for Adelaide & one for Mia). Her final tantrum was on the way out when she changed her mind at the last minute about which prize she wanted (after our turn was over). We'll have to think seriously about another birthday @ Chuck E. Cheese. - Mia says she wants to have her birthday there next month. W

Avery Updates

Avery is thriving, but I find myself busier than ever. Go figure. At her one month checkup, she weighed 8lb 14oz (born 6lb 15oz). Then at her 2 month checkup, she was 10lb 14oz. I don't think I've had a baby grow so fast. We'll have to see how long this keeps up. She's even close to sleeping through the night. Several nights a week, she sleeps for around 7 hours! None of my babies like bathtime . BIG Yawn! Baby bear in her carseat . Allison can't stand to leave her be. She loves her baby sister. Sometimes her eyes don't focus together....My poor little crazy-eyes. Happy baby! She's officially grown out of a few outfits like this one. Sad Baby. Trying to enjoy a litt le playtime. "Look at Mommy Baby!" My Little girls. Floor Dancing Avery needs her binky . Allison is a punk sometimes...She took Avery's sock off, so I made her put it back on. It's a lot harder than it looks.

OK, today is video Friday. I was looking through some video clips with the kids this morning & decided to share a couple of cute ones. This is one of my faves. - This is just typical for Adam when Amelia was born. He loved his little sis SO much. What happened? It's just funny to hear Amelia "whine" as her brother loves on her.
