Ricky's Come to Visit
Well, uncle Ricky made it. We picked him up tonight in Chicago. It's actually a funny thing. Apparently, my MIL (+ FIL + 2 nephews) will be flying out of O'Hare & her son will be flying out of Midway early Wednesday morning. I think maybe a couple of someones didn't realize that there were 2 big airports in Chicago. Oh well, they'll figure it out.
Today, Adam went to a birthday party & had a blast. A bunch of boys running around the yard with squirt guns, what could be more fun, right? While Adam was away, I took everyone else to Culver's. Mmmmm...frozen custard. Those of you "in town" know what I'm talkin' about. It was great. My nephews are pretty picky. The food can't look or taste to weird or to different (or too healthy). They loved the grilled cheese & fries. I like that I can get a kids meal that comes with dessert! We also picked up some "snacks" to take on our little road trip. After Bry came home, we left for Chicago to pick up his brother Ricky. And here I am at 11:41pm (can you say insomniac?) sitting in a hotel in Chicago, blogging about nothing in particular. Blah..blah...blah.
Adelaide is laying next to me talking unintelligibly in her sleep. - Hopefully, she doesn't have a night terror. Well, I guess I should go to sleep. We're supposed to go to the Museum of Science and Industry tomorrow...and see the Michael Jordan Statue...and Ricky wants to see Wrigley field. I'm hoping "drive-by's" will work for those. We will see.
