Allison's 1st Dentist Appointment - Can you see her ON TOP of the table? I am having a hard time lately, scheduling appointments. I mean, I schedule 2 (or more) kids together, to save me a trip. BUT, it seems that this backfires on me. I mean, I only have to make 1 trip, but the kids make up for it by being naughty or just bouncing off the walls. Any advice? Will they grow out of it? I hope so. Brushing with brand new toothbrushes. Stylish, don't you think? She can't wait until her turn. I don't know when the dentist will come. Be patient... Bored...Let me entertain you. Yes, yes...You too. She was very good, even when she had to do an x-ray. I don't think she could've lifted that lead apron if she wanted to. Good Girl So, WHEN do I have to do this again?? Oh, did I mention that Amelia was in the other room (Bryan too) getting a filling? Yeah...a little OVER-scheduled.

Grandma & Grandpa came to visit & to bring Adam home. They have to be back in Dallas to fly home to AZ on Wednesday (I think). Well, we decided to take a little weekend road trip. Yesterday, we left the house in the morning. Bryan & his mom wanted to go back to a cemetary that we've visited before, so we took the LONG way to St. Louis. We had a few wrong turns & had to back-track a couple of times, but with the help of a "local", we arrived. The kids & I stayed in the car. - NO ticks for us. Adam made especially sure that EVERYONE knew he wasn't getting out. (Last time, he ended up with ticks ON HIM.) After leaving the cemetary, we drove back into town. Yeah, did I mention that this cemetary is ON someone's property in the middle of NOWHERE Missouri? Yay. So fun (NOT!). I was really worried that Bryan brought ticks with him, so he had to take a few minutes to check. He wasn't a mealo, but he did have 3 (I think) that stowed-away in his pock...

NOT to be confused with Powerpuff Girls.... Yesterday was not a good day around here. Aside from needing to do the laundry, it wasn't supposed to be a big deal. Well, the girls made a huge mess! Amelia & Adelaide emptied an almost-full baby powder all over their room. I was SO MAD!!! I was proud of myself for grabbing the camera instead of them. It gave me a minute to calm myself ( a little ). Here, you can see footprints in the powder. The girls had powder ALL over them, but especially in their hair. I was coughing & hated breathing the stuff. Didn't the dust bother them too?? Luckily, the majority of the mees was on one side of the room. I know I could have cleaned things better, but I made them clean the other half of their room alone. They had to do it if they wanted to take a bath instead of a shower (which is a punishment for these girls who HATE showers). The video shows the disaster much better. I still feel the dusty film in the hallway upstairs. Aaah!!!

How many adults are needed to take 4 children to Sam's Club for lunch? Apparently, more than 1 (me). I take the 3 girls to Sam's for lunch probably 3 times a month. Today, I attempted to take everyone, because Adam is home too. It was INSANE! I didn't think that just one more kid would make such a difference. I don't know if it was all the winter attire (i.e. coats, hats, gloves, etc.) or just the change in dynamic. Adam seems to provoke problems that I don't usually have. He bugs the girls until they scream, cry or hit. Then, he complains that THEY are causing trouble. Don't get me wrong. Amelia LOVES to torment her brother too. It all makes me want to scream! Aaah! I was full on screaming at Adam before we left...I guess I should've taken it as a sign. I figured it would be better...that they would behave & listen better in public. Not really. So, I will have to reconsider taking them out anywhere again. I don't know if I can handle it. I just feel...

I should start out by saying that I get periodic emails with recipes. Some merit a glance, most of them are deleted without a second thought. Today, I was sent this recipe for a Cheesy Apple-Bacon bake. I thought it sounded yummy & quickly realized I had ALL of the ingredients on-hand (Which is a miracle & almost never happens). I was also blog-hopping earlier & found some yummy choco-peanut butter recipes. One was for the no-bake cookies below. Mmmm...SO yummy! We were late to church today. You'd think that with church at 1pm, I'd have enough time to get myself ready & do 3 little girls' hair. Yeah...you'd think so . Anyway, we were already leaving later than I had planned (& were going to be late anyway). I backed out of the garage & something felt " weird ". I put the van in park & looked @ my hubby. "I think we have a flat." I hopped out & sure enough, my front driver's tire was as flat as it could possibly be. The steel belts were showing through. So, this is my bad luck . (Glad my hubby can change a tire...) However, I do think that it could have been much worse. Bry had gone to Blockbuster earlier in the morning to return some videos. I think that short drive might have been enough to separate the tire such that all of the air leaked out. I AM thankful, because the tire might have blown-out without this trip & the extra weight from the rest of the family. Now, this is t...
